Lyric background

I used ink to do this background, I dripped it down the page for a nice effect and wiped the different colours into eachother to look like a rainbow. I put it onto photoshop and added lyrics.

Circles and lines

These are simple circles and lines that we fitted different letters into the curves and lines.

Ink

These are backgrounds done in ink, the first one is done with ink and pastel and is the background for a quote. The second one is a background for lyrics.

Repeated pattern

This is a reapeated patteren, I chose my favourite image from our creative review pictures and copied it over the page and coloured is with crayon.

Collage

This is my collage, I put type from magazines in the background and photographs from a magazine to fill in the letters.

Beast mask

This is a rough draft of what I want my beast mask to look like, I labelled the different features around the drawing to show what ideas I have.

Material and ink

We stuck different materials to card and then drowned it in ink to see how different materials absorbed the ink and created different textures.

Mark making with indian ink

In this lesson we were focusing on mark making. We used Indian ink and Chinese paintbrushes we made in a previous lesson.  Various brushes made different marks and gave different effects; I particularly like the feather brushes because they make a nice star shape.
